This in person event, the inaugural conference of the Irish Association for International Education, aims to explore forward thinking strategies, innovations and partnerships that will shape the future of global engagement in higher education. The event seeks to envision the next chapter in global education, enhancing and fostering inclusive, resilient, and impactful strategies for the decades ahead.

HEURO Global: Managing Mobility Conference, Cardiff, 12-13 August
This annual in person event will offer a morning of Mobility 101 for those new to working in the sector. It will be followed 3 half days packed with topics of interest for both experienced and new practitioners. Dinner on the middle night will be in Cardiff Castle.
The programme will include the following topics:
– COIL and blended intensive (BIP) projects
– EDI: embracing cultural norms in a more inclusive world
– effective crisis management for study abroad
– enabling mobility in STEM subjects
– India as a mobility destination
– leveraging social media for mobility
– personal health and wellbeing
– travel industry support for familiarisation experiences
– Turing Scheme update
– working with TNE partners for short term mobility
