Who we are

HEURO Global is the Association of UK HE International Professionals Officers. It comprises a membership of over 100 institutions and is managed by an elected Executive Committee.

We are a representative organisation providing a platform for all professionals, who are involved in initiatives globally in the context of UK HE with a view to discussing and promoting matters of common interest and disseminating good practice.

What we do

  • Provide opportunities for higher education staff involved in global activities to share experiences. In particular, to provide initial professional development opportunities for staff new to mobility funding and global mobility activities.
  • Promote models of good practice in obtaining global mobility funding and in managing mobility programmes by sharing experiences of those working in this area within higher education.
  • Represent the views of its members when dealing with national and international professional and educational bodies, including the production of positioning papers on strategic issues and to act as a channel of communication between such organisations and HEURO Global’s members.
  • Promote the benefits of internationalisation in higher education.
